Update 11/03/2020

If children are showing any symptoms, parents must contact the NHS on 111, if there are any positive tests and families have to self-isolate then schools are able to authorise the absence (this evidence can be provided via your school nurse).

If the government guidance changes over the next few days/weeks, we will inform you as soon as we are made aware.

The Department for Education have a helpline up and running to answer questions about COVID19 related to education.

Staff, parents and young people can contact the helpline:

Phone: 0800 046 8687

email: DfE.coronavirushelpline@education.gov.uk

Opening hours: 8am to 6pm (Monday to Friday)

School have also run on assembly on the Coronavirus and what will happen if the school has to close. You can read the information here. Coronavirus – Assembly
