Dear Parents/Carers,

I hope that you are all safe and well. Thank you for your continued support in ensuring that your child is engaged in our Virtual School, it really is important that we continue to deliver high quality lessons to our students, and we will continue with our study of the curriculum online until the end of term on Friday 17th July.

Please ensure that your child is logged on to Microsoft Teams at 8.45am every morning for the start of their lessons. In addition to students following their usual timetable of lessons, we are also offering a wealth of extra-curricular challenges, support and guidance on their year group teams which we encourage all students to access.

Please be advised that there will be an INSET Day on Thursday 2nd July for all staff at Moreton. During this day, there will not be any teacher engagement on Teams, but students are welcome to access the range of materials on the platform across the day. In addition to this, teachers will also be posting that week’s Happiness Hour onto Teams for students to engage with. You may wish to download and watch this PowerPoint as a family, and discuss the different themes discussed together.

Please however be advised that our mini school will remain open to vulnerable students and children of keyworkers.

Once again, thank you all very much for your support: we look forward to seeing you all again when it is safe to do so.
