Outcome of Staggered Start Time Consultation
Dear Parents and Carers,
I hope that you and your families have had a lovely Easter break. Thank you for your feedback regarding the proposed changes to the start and end times of the school day.
Having considered all of the responses, we have decided to revert back to the original times of the school day from September 2021 as shown below, with the exception of a slightly earlier finish for years 7 and 8.
School Start: 8:40am | Years 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 & 13 |
School Finish: 3:15pm | Years 7 & 8 |
School Finish: 3:30pm | Years 9, 10, 11, 12 & 13 |
The earlier finish time for Years 7 and 8 is to ease traffic congestion.
Children in Years 7 and 8 that have brothers and sisters in KS4 and KS5 may wait in our dining hall if they travel with their siblings.
If Covid restrictions are lifted in September, enrichment will take place after school Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 3:30pm – 4:15pm.
If you have any questions regarding the above, please do not hesitate to contact the school or email your child’s Head of Year for further clarification.
Thank you again for your continued support.
Yours sincerely,
Ms N Davis
Executive Principal
