Moreton mourns the loss of former Headteacher
It is with shock and sadness that we share the news of former Headteacher Carl Williams’ passing.
Carl was passionate about the local community and made a positive difference to so many young people’s lives in the city before moving to Australia where he continued to dedicate his time to working with young people and enjoying life with his family.
He was immeasurably kind, patient and warm; qualities that he encouraged and developed in the young people he worked with particularly through his passion for sport. Moving forwards, we will be awarding the Carl Williams Memorial Trophy each year to a student who embodies these characteristics, in order to honour his legacy at Moreton School.
We send our condolences to his wife Liz and their three children, they will be very much in our thoughts throughout this difficult time.
With much love from all at Moreton School
