Moreton National Art Award
The Year 7 and 8 Art club students attended a trip to Coventry City Centre’s The Hub and Starley Gardens today to receive their runners up certificate and award for their virtual sculpture in association with the Gallery of Living History and Coventry University. They also unveiled the winning sculpture by Sydney Stringer school.
Staff at the event were very complimentary of the Moreton Students politeness and behaviour throughout the day, they were excellent representatives of the school.
We had a lovely day and myself and the students were starstruck by the amazing Andy Serkis who surprised us by attending the event as the gallerys founder!!
The students received a group certificate for the school and will receive individual certificates in the post to Moreton.
You can read more about the competition on the Gallery of Living History Website and you can view our entries here.
