Professional Dance Workshop for Moreton

Moreton Dance students were recently treated to a visit from Professional Dancer, Simeon Beckett. Simeon has performs all over the country and has been in the cast of “Everybody’s talking about Jamie” musical stage show.

Simeon spoke to the students about how learning different styles of dance made him a better performer and how learning tap and classical styles improved his lines and movement in street dance. Students then learned a complete street dance from start to finish with each move broken down to get it absolutely perfect, they certainly had a workout and by the end of the session they were all ready for a rest.
