Moreton Celebrates our Sporting Superstars

On Tuesday 11th July Moreton School hosted the first ever Sports Awards Evening aimed to celebrate to achievements of students who have represented the school in sport. The evening was split into two separate ceremonies with Year 7 and 8’s at 5.30-6.30pm and Year 9 and 10’s at 7-8pm.

We had approximately 200 guests for the first ceremony and nearly 100 for the second ceremony which was a fantastic turn out considering it was our first year hosting this event. We were extremely privileged to have Great British Gymnast Joshua Nathan as the guest speaker for the evening as well. In addition to this we had Amy and Karen from Year 9 signing at the start of the ceremonies as well and they were both incredible.  

The evening was a huge success and we are already looking forward to hosting next year!
