Mr Parsons Challenge!
Lots of students have come to me in the past with their own Poems and Lyrics. I ALWAYS love to read songs that our students make and sometimes we work together to create a full song out of these lyrics.
I challenge you to create your own lyrics at home this week.
In order to help you here are some ideas to get you started:
- Think of a theme such as Relationships, School life or even Halloween which is coming up soon.
- Use a song that you enjoy and rewrite the lyrics. This way the melody is already done for you.
- Try to write 2 verses, each about 4-8 lines each.
Make sure you pass your lyrics on to your form tutor or Mr Parsons by Wednesday so that I can judge the winner!
