As a Staff Governor I’ve worked in Education since 2008,  prior to this I worked for BT as a Service Manager.   I joined the Amythyst Trust 2010 working firstly at Aldersley High school where I started as a Teaching Assistant in the Special Education Needs Department before changing my role to Pastoral Head of Year and the latter years combining this  alongside Deputy Designated Safeguarding lead.  I  moved  to Moreton school 2018 as Safeguarding lead which is a role I cherish.  Moreton is a family where as staff we all support our young people as they move from year 7 to year 11.  Seeing their growth in confidence and self-belief as they face the ups and downs of life is what we as a school are all about.  Ensuring they have the resilience and freedom of choice as they leave year 11 to enter the next stage of their life.
